Founded by Raquel Ohenhen, Shalom Care Services was born from a genuine passion for helping people live independently and with dignity. Based in Western Sydney, we are a registered NDIS provider now also delivering aged care services under the Support at Home program.

Shalom Care provides a range of support services delivered in the comfort of your own home. Our aged care services include domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation), personal care, and respite care. We are also a registered NDIS provider, supporting people with disability to live independently and participate in their community.

Our aged care services are available to older Australians who need assistance to continue living at home safely and independently. Our NDIS services are available to participants with an approved NDIS plan that includes the relevant supports. If you're unsure whether you qualify, contact us and we'll help guide you through your options.

For aged care services, you can contact us directly or be referred through My Aged Care (myagedcare.gov.au). For NDIS services, you will need an active NDIS plan that funds the relevant supports. Once you reach out, we'll arrange an initial consultation to understand your needs and build a care plan tailored to you.

Costs depend on the type of service, your funding source, and your individual plan. Aged care services may be fully or partially funded through a government Home Care Package or CHSP. NDIS participants are charged in line with the NDIS Price Guide. We are transparent about all fees and will discuss costs with you before services begin — no surprises.

Yes. All Shalom Care staff are trained, qualified, and experienced in aged care and disability support. Our team holds relevant certifications, undergoes regular professional development, and is subject to background and police checks. We are committed to compassionate, person-centred care delivered by people you can trust.

We welcome volunteers who share our commitment to supporting older people and those living with disability. Volunteers may assist with companionship visits, transport, and activities.
